Quality Assurance, Accreditation Bodies & Professional Organisations
ODLQC is the British Government's guardian of quality in open and distance learning. It was set up in 1968 to enhance quality in education and training. It aims to protect the interests of learners by operating a voluntary registration scheme for providers of home study, distance learning, online and other open learning courses.
INTESOL WORLDWIDE has passed stringent evaluation to achieve Provider Accreditation Status from the ODLQC. This means INTESOL WORLDWIDE is recognised as a quality provider of training courses which are monitored by an independent, external awarding body. It's not just the quality of INTESOL courses that ODLQC assesses, but the whole process from start to finish.
The ODLQC Guarantee
INTESOL is accredited by ODLQC, the national body for quality in open and distance learning.
This means that INTESOL has achieved the standards set by the Council, who are satisfied
that the service you, the learner, receive from INTESOL will be of good quality.
If it is not, or you cannot resolve a dispute with INTESOL, please let us know at ODLQC. Write to: Learner Support, ODLQC, 44 Bedford Row, London WC1R 4LL and we will look into your case.

INTESOL Teaching Practice Centres in the UK are accredited by the Accreditation Body for Language Services. ABLS Accreditation is a UKBA approved accreditation body for the purpose of accrediting private education providers. As the only TESOL training provider authorised to offer teaching practice programmes with ABLS accredited English language schools, INTESOL offers you the unique opportunity to gain valuable observed and assessed teaching practice within a quality, controlled environment. ABLS schools are listed on the Providers Register in exactly the same way as schools connected to the British Council. ABLS requires prospective schools to pass an initial inspection, covering legal requirements, premises, management, academic standards, teaching and learning, resources, student welfare and social programme.
