INTESOL offers courses in the vibrant city of Leeds in the UK. This course leads to the internationally recognised INTESOL Certificate in TESOL. It includes Teaching Practice with real students to enable trainees to experience standing in front of a class. The course is held at the INTESOL Centre in the Northern School of Languages (NSL). CentreThe Northern School of Languages (NSL) is a private establishment which specialises in the teaching of languages ranging from English as a foreign language to Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian, along with several other languages. (NSL) prides itself on offering students the opportunity to study in small groups of no more than 12 per class. In this way teachers are able to give each student the individual attention they need, so enabling them to get a lot more out of their lessons.(NSL) is based in Horsforth, within a short travelling distance of Leeds city centre. It is easily accessible from both Leeds and Bradford on a main bus route and is only ten minutes from Leeds/Bradford International Airport. The area has excellent facilities for students including several cafés, restaurants and shops. The school itself offers a self-study area, access to reference books, computers and free access to the Internet and drinks facilities. You will be treated as one of the family and will be given a great opportunity to improve your English. Your host family will provide you with a clean, comfortable room, access to the bathroom and laundry facilities, along with breakfast and evening meals during the week and full meals at weekends. EligibilityApplicants need to have a good educational background. However we welcome applications from those without a formal academic background who are able to communicate clearly in English. Booking DetailsA deposit of £200 per person, payable to INTESOL WORLDWIDE Ltd is required in order to secure your place on the course (refundable if your application is refused or the course is full).
